About KVP Labs

Our signature product, Clean Sheet, was created to address the unique skin challenges I was facing during perimenopause. I roamed my favorite beauty aisles looking for products to handle skin that was prone to random acne AND dryness thanks to changing hormones. Moisturizers and serums alone weren't cutting it anymore. The only options seemed to be focused on teen acne or emphasized wrinkle-reduction and anti-aging benefits. The focus on skin health and the message that it’s ok to embrace our age AND our glow seemed to be missing entirely.

I was frustrated that my needs weren’t being addressed and decided to take on the challenge myself. After a lot of experimenting I discovered hydrocolloids and something so simple could meaningfully elevate my skin’s moisture and hydration. One product could amplify my routine without overhauling it.

What you see today is the result of countless conversations with others of all genders, ages and skin textures and 123,139 stages of research and development. But mostly, a dedication to providing straightforward solutions for those feeling like me: Overlooked and overwhelmed by the options facing them in the beauty aisle (and in life) and deciding to do something about it.

I have worked for years as a small business advisor and advocate, but it was only with this venture that I myself became an actual small business owner. I started KVP Labs to solve a skincare problem, but it turned out, I was also figuring out how to reinvent myself - one patch at a time. Having a great idea is the easy part. It's everything else that will humble you. Continuing to show up for yourself in midlife is one of the hardest mental hurdles there is. Every click, like, share and purchase matters. Thank you for showing up while I do the same.

What started out as a passion project has become an obsession. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Either way - please reach out with thoughts on how we make the 123,140th version even better together.

XOXO,

Jill L. Lippincott
