What is KVP Labs? 

KVP labs is a woman-owned small business cosmetics manufacturer located in Iowa. Founded by Jill Lippincott, who has worked in the retail, non-profit, government, large corporate and start-up sectors throughout her professional career, but she will tell you, there's NOTHING quite as thrilling and terrifying like starting your own small business cosmetic manufacturing brand in your 40s.  

Why the name KVP Labs?

It honors some of our favorite friends who have been alongside us in this journey. If you look closely, they are represented in the logo too!
 

Who are your products for? 
 

We create simple, effective, science-led skincare solutions to help retain the moisture your skin already holds for anyone whose skin is changing — especially during hormonal shifts or midlife transitions.

How are Clean Sheet patches different from acne or wrinkle patches?

Acne patches treat one spot. Silicone wrinkle patches flatten one area. KVP Labs’ signature product, Clean Sheet, is designed for everything your skin is going through at once and multiple locations on your facial profile. Our full‑face hydrocolloid sheet delivers moisture, calm, and overnight reset to the areas that need it most — cheeks, under‑eyes, forehead, and anywhere your skin feels dry, tight, or stressed. It’s a simple, one‑step way to wake up looking more hydrated and refreshed.

What skin concerns do you focus on? 
 

Texture changes, breakouts, dryness, dullness, and barrier disruption — especially when they show up all at once.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin? 
 

All users should conduct a patch test on skin before use. Do not use if irritation occurs. Avoid if allergic to any components or ingredients. Patches are for one time use only.

Can I use your products with my current routine? 
 

Absolutely. Our hydrocolloid products can be added into any routine without conflict. Follow instructions on the label if adding creams or serums to skin before hydrocolloid patch use.

Do you use fragrance? 
 

No. We avoid fragrance and essential oils in our products unless specifically noted in the product description. (We’d love to hear from you if you’d like us to start a line using essential oils though!)
 

Are your products gender-inclusive? 
 

Yes. Skin is skin. Our products are designed for all genders and all identities.

Are your patches regulated as a medical product?

No. KVP Labs products are considered cosmetic products and therefore have not been evaluated by the FDA as medical products and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or health condition. Hydrocolloid patches are intended for external use only.

Do you follow FDA cosmetics manufacturing sanitary guidelines? 
 

Yes. Our products are made in the USA using high-quality, medical‑grade hydrocolloid sourced from a manufacturer that is ISO 13485:2016 certified and FDA‑registered.

While KVP Labs is a small‑batch cosmetics manufacturer, we follow strict safety and quality practices and avoid known irritants, as well as follow FDA-compliant cosmetic product and labeling standards for small business cosmetics manufacturers.

Are your products cruelty-free? 
 

Yes. We never test on animals.

What testing DO you perform? 
 

Our products undergo ingredient and formula safety assessments, stability checks, and real‑world testing with users who have sensitive or reactive skin.
 

Do you ship internationally? 
 

At launch, we ship within the U.S. International shipping will be added soon.

When are you launching?
